Dr. Michael Cornwall was trained in Rational Emotive Behavior therapy (REBT) by Drs. Albert Ellis and Raymond DiGiuseppe. He holds Primary and Advanced Certification in REBT and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. He is an advanced certified Emotional Intelligence (EQ) practitioner. Since 1995, REBT has been his primary practice orientation. Dr. Cornwall’s secondary and tertiary practice models are Emotional Intelligence theory and bio-psycho-social awareness. Dr. Cornwall holds doctor's degrees in both general psychology and behavioral medicine. He holds master’s degrees in both professional clinical counseling and social work. Dr. Cornwall is a veteran of the United States Air Force and welcomes retired and active military members and their families.
